Bear Hunts...Idaho bear hunting is the ultimate adventure that every serious sportsman should experience. The area is home to a wide variety of color phase bears ranging from black, red, blonde, cinnamon, and chocolate. We are based in a territory where there is an active commandment of a lumber company with large presence of clear cuts. These areas happen to be favorite bear habitats because they are lured to clear cuts for the green vegetation and berries that grow in abundance. Bears in this area average 150-300 pounds, with males usually larger than females. Spring bear hunting, mid-April through end of June, is a great way to participate in predator management; as well as, providing opportunities during a season when hunting options are limited. Elk and deer deliver young in the Spring, and areas with high bear populations can put undue stress on those species. We are one of the few outfitters in Idaho that can offer a two bear hunt. Spring and Fall hunts available. Bear hunting can be challenging but with a well-trained pack of hounds and a seasoned guide by your side, you'll save yourself a lot of time and energy.
